EDU-facilitation 2.0 brought together participants from Croatia, Latvia, Spain, Greece, Romania, Czechia and Slovakia for an eight-day Erasmus+ training course in Adamov focused on experiential learning and facilitation in education. The programme was built around practice rather than theory: participants explored active listening, constructive feedback, non-verbal communication, failure management and Kolb’s experiential learning cycle, while gradually learning how to create safe, engaging and meaningful learning environments.
As the course progressed, participants moved from learners into the role of facilitators themselves. They explored how to open and close a session, actively involve participants, manage group dynamics and respond to difficult situations, before designing and delivering their own workshops through the Creative Labs. Topics included public speaking, leadership, visual facilitation, game-based learning and dealing with challenging group situations. The training ended with reflection on what worked, what could be improved and how participants could transfer the methods into workshops and educational activities back home.
